Company experts have successfully completed technical design works for 69 km railway route Marijampole – Kazlu Ruda – Kaunas five stations railway signaling and communications. Performed work is a part of 1435 mm rail road reconstruction in frame of Rail Baltica project.
Technical design was performed in two stages. In the first stage were done conditions analyses, necessary measurements, collection of technical data and predesigned solutions evaluation. In the second stage were done technical design works.
Design works were done in one year and successfully completed project is excellent evaluation of company experience in railway infrastructure engineering.
Project Rail Baltica is one of the priority projects of the European Union: Trans-European Transport Networks (TEN-T). The project is supposed to link Finland, the Baltic States and Poland and also improve the connection between Central and Eastern Europe and Germany. It envisages a continuous rail link from Tallinn (Estonia), to Warsaw (Poland), going via Riga (Latvia) and Kaunas (Lithuania).
