The system was supplied in compliance with the terms and conditions of the external border foundation annual program funded project No.ISF10/3.2.2-1.9 „INSTALLATION OF INTEGRATED MARITIME SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM OPERATOR WORKPLACE".
Under the contract, Telekonta supplied dedicated operator workplace equipped with computer and network components, display wall, video recording system. Twenty operators were trained by Transas instructor on Navi-Harbour system use and maintenance.
The new operator workplace equipped with Navi-Harbour software functionalities will allow the Lithuanian State Border Guard to improve fulfillment of their maritime surveillance duties including accurate detection and tracking of the sea targets in the various environmental conditions, identification of the ships and other navigational objects in bad weather conditions, multiply sensor (Radar and AIS) tracking.
